About the poem and poet:. The poem where the mind is without fear is written by Rabindranath Tagore This has been taken from Gitanjali which is very famous creation of RN Tagore and also got noble prize in 1913for this creation in field of literature. He was the first Indian as well as the first Asian who got the Nobel prize.
Rabindranath Tagore, also known as Gurudev born on May 7 ,1861 in Kolkata. He was a Bengali poet, short story writer,song composer, play writer, essayist and painter; who introduced new prose and verse. He was an Indian polymath (a person of wide knowledge),poet , artist ,musician and Ayurveda researcher.
Ravindra nath Tagore is called Gurudev. He is the author of national anthem 'Jana gana Mana'.
He called Gandhi as Mahatma and Mahatma Gandhi called ravindranath Tagore, Gurudev. He was the poet of Bengali and has written lots of poem in Bengali and he had self translated them in English, just like Gitanjali was written in Bengali and after Rabindranath Tagore translated this in English.
He was the first non European to be honoured with the prestigious Nobel prize for Gitanjali.
Some creations of Rabindranath Tagore:- Gitanjali, choker waali ,the postman, gora the post office, kabuliwalah ,Sadhna, sacrifice, nauka dubi, char adhyay ,uphar, teen Kanya etc.

तो चलिए अब आते हैं पोयम की ओर अब हम कविता पढ़ेंगे की 'भय मुक्त मस्तिष्क कहां है'.

इस कविता को देखने पर ऐसा लगता है कि यह एक प्रार्थना है लेकिन अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से यह रविंद्र नाथ टैगोर द्वारा अपने देश के नागरिकों लिए एक प्रेरणात्मक कविता है कि उठो , जागों, गुलामी की जंजीरों को त्यागो , समाज में व्याप्त कुरीतियों एवं संकीर्ण भावनाओं से ऊपर उठकर एकता और भाईचारे की भावना के साथ पूरे आत्मविश्वास और आत्म सम्मान के साथ स्वराज के लिए, फ्रीडम के लिए आगे बढ़ो।

हिंदी अर्थ। कवि रवींद्र नाथ टैगोर कहते हैं कि हे प्रभु क्या कोई ऐसी जगह है जहां लोगों का मस्तिष्क भय रहित हो ,जहां पर वह खुशी और स्वतंत्र हो।जहां उनका मस्तिष्क स्वयं का मालिक हो , वो अपना सर उठाकर चल सके अर्थात उनमें आत्म सम्मान की भावना हो और वह स्वाभिमान के साथ जिए।
हे प्रभु क्या कोई ऐसी जगह है जहां पर ज्ञान स्वतंत्र हो वह भाषा वाद , जातिवाद ,प्रदेशवाद और सामाजिक कुरीतियों के बंधन से मुक्त हो। दूसरे शब्दों में रविंद्र नाथ टैगोर कह रहे हैं कि ऐ देशवासियों !समस्त प्रकार के भेदभाव को त्यागो और ज्ञान रूपी गंगा को मुक्त करो । ज्ञान को इन भेदभाव ,सामाजिक कुरीतियों के बंधनों से मत बांधो क्योंकि ज्ञान के बिना मनुष्य पशु की तरह होता है और बिना ज्ञान के हम कभी भी सच्ची स्वतंत्रता प्राप्त नहीं कर सकते हैं। टैगोर कहना चाहते हैं कि ज्ञान में किसी भी प्रकार का भेदभाव और बंधन नहीं होना चाहिए ,वह सभी के लिए एक समान होनी चाहिए , सभी को शिक्षा प्राप्त करने का बराबर का हक होना चाहिए और शिक्षा ऐसी होनी चाहिए जो की जीवन को उत्थान की ओर ले जाए और उसका व्यक्तित्व निर्माण करें।

कवि कहते हैं कि प्रभु ! क्या कोई ऐसी जगह है जहां पर लोगों में एकता हो ,जहां पर वह अलग-अलग बटे हुए ना हो , जहां पर उनकी मानसिक विचार धाराएं मिले ,एक समान हो अर्थात कवि कहना चाहता है कि ऐ मेरे देशवासियों ! आपस में फूट मत डालो आपस में मिलजुल कर ,एकता के साथ , भाईचारे की भावनाओं के साथ , रहो ईर्ष्या , जलन , भेदभाव आदि संकीर्ण भावनाओं से ऊपर उठकर अखंड भारत का निर्माण करो।
झूठ , फरेब , धोखेबाजी , आत्महीनता ,लालच , ईष्या , पर निंदा , चुगली ,बेईमानी ,अपराध बैरभाव को त्याग दो और ईमानदारी सच्चाई के रास्ते पर चलते हुए बुराई के अन्यान्य को सहन मत करो इसका विरोध करो ,खुले आसमान में खुलकर जियो , किसी के बहकावे में ,लालच में ,मत आओ किसी से भयभीत होकर गलत मार्ग पर मत चलो।
Were tireless striving stretches it's arm towards perfection;
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost it way into dreary desert and sand of dead habit;
निरंतर अभ्यास करते रहो एक बार असफलता मिलने पर निराश मत हो लगातार प्रयास करते रहो ।स्वतंत्रता के लिए स्वराज के लिए निरंतर प्रयास रत रहो । कर्मरत रहो। ट्राई एंड ट्राई अगेन। निरंतर सुधार करो और बेहतर की ओर बढ़ो।
हे प्रभु सभी के अंदर शुद्ध तर्कशक्ति हो ।जो कि किसी भी प्रकार की संकीर्ण भावना और निम्न दृष्टिकोण से बाधित न हो । जिस प्रकार नदी का पानी(clear streem) निर्मल होता है उसी प्रकार लोगों के तर्क शक्ति स्वतंत्र(free) और निर्बाधित(free and critical clear)हो।
लोगों के तर्क करने की विरोध करने की शक्ति नष्ट हो चुकी है । वो दुखों को , अन्याय को हटाने की बजाय उसे स्वीकार कर लेते हैं ।जैसे नदी का पानी मरुस्थल(dreary desert of dead habits )में सूख जाता है वैसे ही यह हर जुल्म और अन्याय को बिना किसी विरोध के बिना किसी प्रयत्न के निर्जीवों की तरह बस सहन करते जा रहे हैं ।इनके अंदर तर्क करने और अन्याय के खिलाफ आवाज उठाने की शक्ति नहीं है।
Where the mind is let forward by thee into ever widening thought and action;
Into that heaven of freedom,my father, let my country awake.
हे प्रभू मेरे देशवासियों के मस्तिष्क को उनके दृष्टिकोण को उनके विचारों को उनकी सोच को सुधारो और वह आपके द्वारा प्रेरित हो ।आप उनका मार्गदर्शन करें उनकी सोच को एवं उनके कर्म को सुधारे ,उन्हें वह शक्ति दे कि उनका दृष्टिकोण उच्च कोटि का बने और वह अन्याय के खिलाफ आवाज उठाने की , नए कदम बढ़ाने की सोचें साथ-साथ उसे पूरा भी करे ।
वहां किसी भी प्रकार का कोई दुख बुरे विचार बुरी सोच ,ईर्ष्या , जलन , अनेकता , , जाति , दुर्भाव , बुराई ना हो । एकदम स्वर्ग जैसा स्वतंत्र सुखी वातावरण हो मानो कि जैसे स्वर्ग हो और वह प्रभु आपके द्वारा संचालित हो ।जहां के लोग और निवासी , भारतवासी जागृत हो जागरूक हो
