तो दोस्तो आशा करता हूं की आप सब चुस्त तनदुरुस्त और मस्त होंगे Friends, I hope you all are staying fit, healthy and happy.
तो आज आपके लिए लेकर आए हैं The Axe का सेकंड पार्ट
पिछले पार्ट में हमने पाठ की आधी summary पढ़ ली थी अब इस पार्ट में हम उसके आगे का पढ़ेंगे।



 
तो बिना समय गंवाए शुरू करते हैं अपना सेकंड पार्ट
So lets get started

तो अब तक हमने पड़ा की कैसे velan घर  छोड़ कर गया, मालगुड़ी शहर में old man से मिला, गार्डन की देखभाल की
Old man का घर कितना बड़ा था पर बाद में उसका रंग उतरने लगा । बूढ़ा व्यक्ति अब लाठी के सहारे चलता , अपाहिज की तरह गार्डन ताकते बैठे रहता , घर की बूढ़ी मालकिन का भी शरीर जर्जर हो उठा। साथ ही velan भी बूढ़ा होने लगा। 

अब इस पार्ट में उसके आगे का पढ़ेंगे

अब velan भी बूढ़ा हो चुका था , घर के मालिक old man भी बीमार रहने लगे और एक दिन चल बसे। Old man के बेटे बहुत लापरवाह थे। वो कुछ साल वहां रहें फिर घर छोड़ कर चले गए । एक साल बाद एक किराएदार आए पर वो velan से अभद्रतापूर्वक पेश आते , पौधों की क्यारियों पर दौड़ते , कच्चे ही फल तोड़ने लगते आदि । वो velan को धमकी देते की " ए बुड्ढे ज्यादा चालाकी मत करना वरना काम से निकाल देंगे। उन्होंने विलेन से गाय को नहलाने का काम सौंप दिया।

Now Velan had also become old, the owner of the house, the old man, also started falling ill and one day died. The old man's sons were very careless. He stayed there for a few years and then left home. 
After a year, a tenant came but he behaved rudely with Velan, ran on the plant beds, started plucking raw fruits etc. He would threaten Velan, "Hey old man, don't be too tricky and clever or else you will be out of work."

Velan से यह सब सहा ना जाता उसे लगता कि वह अपने घर चला जाए पर उसे पौधों से और अपने गार्डन से बहुत लगाव था जिस कारण वह घर नहीं गया। velan के भाग्य ने साथ दिया और कुछ समय बाद वह किराएदार है उस स्थान को छोड़कर के चले गए। घर के मालिक के बेटे समय-समय पर घर को देखने आया करते थे पर बाद में वह भी बंद हो गया। अब  वह घर एक वीरान खंडहर सा हो गया।
कई किराएदार आते और चले जाते , घर का पेंट उड़ गया, प्लास्टर दीवारों से टूटने लगा, घर की आलमारियों में दीमक और चीटियां लगने लगी । अब सब उस घर को भूतिया बुलाने लगे।

Velan could not bear all this, he felt that he should go home but he was very fond of plants and his garden, due to which he did not go home. Velan's luck favors him and after some time he rents that place.
The son of the owner of the house used to come to see the house from time to time but later , that too stopped. Now that house became like a deserted ruin.
Many tenants came and went, the paint of the house started peeling off, plaster started falling off the walls, termites and ants started infesting the cupboards of the house. Now everyone started calling that house haunted.

अब velan उस घर का लगभग एकमात्र मालिक बन चुका था उसकी झोपड़ी बहुत ही टूटी फूटी और जर्जर थी इसलिए वह घर के सामने के बरांडा में रहने लगा ठीक वैसे ही जैसे चीटियां और चमगादड़ रहते हैं। 
वह समय-समय पर घर को खोलता और उसे साफ करता पर अब वह भी बंद होने लगा क्योंकि वह बहुत ही बूढ़ा हो चुका था।
बेलन अपने पुत्र को बूढ़े व्यक्ति की परिवार के पास वेतन/मेहनताना  लेने के लिए हर 3 महीने में एक बार भेज देता था।

Now Velan had become almost the sole owner of that house. His hut was very dilapidated and leaky so he started living in the verandah in front of the house, just like ants and bats live. 
He used to open the house from time to time and clean it but now he also started closing because he had become very old.
Velan sends his son to the old man's family every 3 months to collect his salary.

एक दिन एक व्यक्ति कार में आता है वह पूरे घर को बहुत ही अच्छी तरह से निरीक्षण करता है और फिर कहता है गुंबद में दरार है , दीवारों में दरार है , लकड़ियां भी खोखली ही होगी अगर इनमें से कुछ पुरानी सड़ी एवं जर्जर वस्तुओं को हटा दिया जाए तो हम इसका उपयोग कर सकते हैं ।
फिर वह व्यक्ति गार्डन की ओर जाता है गार्डन के चक्कर लगाता है और कहता है कि अब इस गार्डन का कोई उपयोग नहीं यह पूरी तरह से खराब हो चुका है।
 इस पूरी प्रॉपर्टी के चारों ओर के आधा दर्जन वृक्षों को छोड़कर सबको हटा दिया जाएगा।

One day a person comes in a car, he inspects the entire house very thoroughly and then says that there are cracks in the dome, there are cracks in the walls, Wood will also be hollow, if some of these old, rotten and dilapidated objects are removed then we can use it.
Then that person goes towards the garden, walk around the garden and says that now this garden is of no use, it has completely deteriorated.
All except  half a dozen trees around this entire property will be removed.

एक सप्ताह के बाद, बूढ़े मालिक का एक बेटा आया। उन्होंने वेलन से कहा, "तुम्हें अपने गांव वापस जाना होगा, बूढ़े आदमी। घर एक कंपनी को बेच दिया गया है। उनके पास कोई बगीचा नहीं होगा। वे फलों के पेड़ों को भी काट रहे हैं और इमारतों को भी गिरा रहे हैं। वे घास के एक तिनके के लिए भी जगह नहीं छोड़ेंगे , छोटे-छोटे घर बनाए जाएंगे ।"
वेलन को अपनी पुरानी, टपकती झोपड़ी में लौटना पड़ा।। जब भी उसे थकान महसूस होती तो वह लेट जाता और सो जाता।

After one week, one of the old master's sons came. He said to Velan "You will have to go back to your village, old fellow. The house is sold to a company. They are not going to have a garden. They are cutting down even the fruit trees and pulling down even the building. They are going to build small houses  without leaving space even for a blade of grass"
Velan had to return to his old, leaky hut. Whenever he felt tired, he would lie down and sleep.

दो दिन बाद, वह कुल्हाड़ी की आवाज़ से उसकी दोपहर की नींद टूटी। 
वह खड़ा हुआ और बाहर देखने के लिए दौड़ा। पुराने मार्गोसा(नीम)  पेड़ के तने को चार आदमी काट रहे थे। वह चिल्लाया, "इसे रोको!" वह अपना डंडा लेकर उन लोगों पर टूट पड़ा जो पेड़ को काटने की कोशिश कर रहे थे। लेकिन वे उन्होंने उसके प्रहार को आसानी से टाल दिया।

Two days later, he was woken from his afternoon sleep by the sound of an axe.
He stood up and ran outside to look.
Four men were cutting the trunk of an old Margosa (Neem) tree. He yelled, "Stop it!" He took his stick and attacked the people who were trying to cut the tree.
But they easily avoided his attack.

उन्होंने पूछा, "क्या बात है?"

"मैंने इसे लगाया। मैंने इसे बड़ा होते देखा। यह मेरा बच्चा है।  इसे मत काटो..." वेलन रोया।

"लेकिन यह कंपनी का आदेश है। अगर हम नहीं मानेंगे तो हमें बर्खास्त कर दिया जाएगा "

"क्या तुम कम से कम मेरे लिए यह काम करोगे? मुझे थोड़ा समय दो। मैं अपने कपड़े बांधूंगा और चला जाऊंगा। मेरे जाने के बाद तुम जो चाहो कर लेना"

He asked, "What's the matter?"

"I planted it. I watched it grow. It's my baby. Don't cut it down…" Waylon cried.

"But this is the company's order. If we don't obey, we will be fired."

"Will you at least do this work for me? Give me some time. I will pack my clothes and leave. "You can do whatever you want after I'm gone."

कुछ ही देर में वेलन सिर पर गठरी लेकर अपनी झोपड़ी से बाहर निकला।
Velan ने उनसे निवेदन किया की "भाई, जब तक मैं वास्तव में बहुत दूर नहीं चला जाता, तब तक काटना शुरू मत करना।"

पुरुष ज़मीन पर बैठ गये। उन्होंने वेलन को जाते हुए देखा। करीब आधे घंटे बाद दूर से उसकी आधी अलग आवाज आई। "अभी मत काटो। मैं अभी भी सुन रहा हूँ। कृपया तब तक प्रतीक्षा करें जब तक मैं और आगे न बढ़ जाऊँ।"👍

After some time, Velan came out of his hut with a bundle on his head.
Velan requested him "Brother, don't start cutting until I go really far."

The men sat on the ground. He saw Velan leaving. After about half an hour, his half-distinct voice came from a distance.

"Don't hang up yet. I'm still listening. Please wait until I go further."👍
